Man Charged In Attempted Assault

FORT COVINGTON - A North Bangor man was charged by state police Wednesday with third-degree attempted assault, second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and unlawful imprisonment.
Earl W. Harris, 24, of 336 Cold Springs Road, was accused of hitting a woman in the stomach and back, threatening her with a knife, and refusing to let her leave.
Mr. Harris was arraigned in Westville Town Court and ordered held in Franklin County Jail on $10,000 bail.
He is to appear in Fort Covington Town Court Tuesday.
