Kyle M.L. Mashaw, 19, of 122 Spring St., was ticketed by city police on Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. on the Spring Street bridge, for speeding (44/30). According to city police, the charge is returnable in city court on March 18.

An employee of WalMart, 3000 Ford Street Extension, reported finding a counterfeit $20 bill on Wednesday at 3:23 p.m. City police say an investigation continues.

Nicole M. Weegar, 27, of 6637 state Highway 58, Gouverneur, was charged Wednesday at 1:32 p.m. on a city court bench warrant for failure to appear. She was arraigned in city court and released on her own recognizance.

City police reported a two-car accident that occurred Tuesday at 3:11 p.m. at Ogdensburg Free Academy, 1100 State St. No injuries or charges resulted from the accident, which involved a parked vehicle owned by Matthew T. Tolman, 43, of 420 Anthony St., and another being driven by Caitlyn E. Besaw, 17, of 69 Haggert Road.

Richard D. Goolden Jr., 27, of 721 Proctor Ave., reported to city police at 10:59 a.m. Tuesday that his wallet had been stolen.

Sierra R. Herbick, 22, of 901 Mechanic St., Apt. 4, was charged with fourth-degree stalking by city police at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
She was then arraigned and released into the supervision of probation.
Police said that the charges were connected to a series of unwanted phone calls she allegedly made to another city woman.

An employee of Price Chopper reported to city police at 10:25 p.m. Monday that there had been a shoplifter inside their store.
Police said an investigation is ongoing.
