Section 10 Players Spark Adirondack Hockey Win

BUFFALO - The Adirondack Women's Scholastic Hockey team highlighted play on Thursday in Empire State Games action with a 3-2 win over Central.

Margaret Corbett generated the first and third goals of the game for Adirondack. Canton's Mackenzie Lennox scored the second goal.

Norwood-Norfolk's Alex Stevenson was superb in goal.

Meanwhile, Massena's Garrett Sharlow scored nine points in a 70-68 Adirondack win over Central in Men's Open Basketball. And Potsdam's Zach Adams logged 12 points for Adirondack in a 81-66 loss to Central in Scholastic Men's Basketball.

In men's scholastic hockey, Massena's Josh Holmes finished with 19 saves but Adirondack loss to Central 6-0.
