Morrill-Morgan Lead Bassmasters Tourney; Roach-Roach Top Points
WADDINGTON - The Father-Son team of Chuck and Chris Roach took over first place in the Northern New York Bassmasters Club season standings with a second place finish in a tournament staged on the St. Lawrence River out of Waddington on Saturday.
The NNYBC hosted its fourth tournamnet of the season at the Waddington Town Launch and weighed in over 196 lbs of mix bag largemouth and smallmouth bass.
The Roach-Roach team weighed in 16.12 pounds of bass to place second behind Fred Morrill of DeKalb and Jim Morgan of Gouverneur who weighed in a 17.81-pound bag anchored by a 4.09 smallie which took Lunker honors.
Brad Paradis and Robert Paradis of Ogdensburg took third at 15.15 lbs and Bruce Lamite and Joey Dufrane of Malone placed fourth 14.61 lbs
The club's next tournament of the season will be on Aug. 7th at Cranberry Lake
