Oscar's, Phoenix, Place Ladies Win

Oscar's, Phoenix on the Bay, and The Place earned Ogdensburg Women's Softball wins on Monday evening.

Oscar's 20, Howie's 7: Jenn Ethridge supplied four singles and double, Jenn Lassial collected five hits, and Kara Pharoah added a triple and two singles to lead Oscar's which scored seven runs in each of the fourth and fifth innings. Other contributions came from: Tammy Amo (three singles), Alyson Bixby (four singles), Shelly Sharpe (two doubles, single), Renee Robinson (four singles), Tara Kroeger (two singles), Tammy McGrath (four singles) and Erin O'Marah (two singles).

Alicia Crowder lined three singles for Howie's. Allyse Claxton (two singles), Jordyn Havens (double), Jill Havens (single), Savannah Ashley (single, double), Katie Nelson (two singles), Jackie Vernsey (two singles), Amy Brassard (single), Mel Bell (single), and Leanne Frary (two singles) all contributed offensively.

Phoenix 19, Myers 3: Ginnelle Morley drilled a double and three singles, Kritter Farrrell crushed a homerun, a triple and a single and Megan McNamara stroked a double and a triple to lead the winners. Other contributions were: Marybeth Davis (single), Kate McCarney (single), Liza LaRock (two singles), Barb Austin (single), Shannon LaFave (two singles) and Sarah LaFave (single).

Nichole Fisher and Chris Stevenson supplied two singles for Myers Pub. Jody Ferris ripped a double while Laura Irvine and Amy Schroh each singled.

The Place 15, Vinn's 0: Kelsey Mallette and Mauren McNally supplied a pair of doubles and a single to lead a very balanced Place effort. Other contributions in the win were: Lisa Roberts (double), Sharon Fifield (double, two singles), Julie Backus (three singles), Beth Tombolilo (single), Angie Burke (two singles, double), Kim Winters (three singles), Angie Caufield (three singles), Stacy Kinney (single), Alexa M. For Vinn's Tavern, Tabitha Addington stroked a double.
