Two-out errors normally come with a high price tag.

The Ogdensburg Maples paid dearly after allowing the Brockville Bunnies extra outs in Tuesday's game at the OFA Varsity Diamond.

The trio of Jay Flanigan, Jordan Hunneyman and David Forbes combined on a two-hitter as the 32-12 Bunnies downed the 9-3 Maples 10-0.

"You just can't make two-out errors, especially against a team as good as Brockville. Their pitching is very strong" said Maples Coach Gary Corbine.

"Jarod Knowlton pitched well enough to get out a few threats but we made two-out errors and they capitalized. And Geoff Baldwin had a pretty good outing but errors hurt him too."

Potsdam's John Coleman and Jerry Mattingly each singled twice and Forbes belted a double to lead the Bunnies who play in the Quebec AAA Midget League.

Eric Barr and Eric Mehaffy singled for the lone hits for the Maples who are scheduled to play in a tournament in Montreal this weekend.
