It was incorrectly reported in Wednesday's edition of The Journal that Donald J. Brenno reported to police that his car and garage had been damaged. The damage was actually reported by another resident of the 1000 block of New York Avenue.

City police responded to a report of a two-car accident at the intersection of State Highway 37 and Champlain Street at 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday. Police said that Rachael S. Patterson, 34, of 583 County Route 28A, Ogdensburg, was the operator of a vehicle involved in a collision with a vehicle operated by Gretta E. Doud, 42, of 8 Highland Park, Massena.
Patterson was ticketed for following too closely and is to appear in city court on Aug. 19.
