Area News Briefs Locks To Close Pot Sales Driver Charged

MASSENA - The visitors center at the Eisenhower Lock will close Sept. 6. Until then, beginning Monday, its hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The center will reopen Memorial Day.
PARISHVILLE - Mark A. Green, 17, Parishville, and Christopher N. Dihrberg, 19, Potsdam, were each charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal sale of marijuana for allegedly selling pot, state police said. Both were issued appearance tickets for Sept. 21 in Town Court. No further information was available.
Tina L. Maccaroni, 44, Ogdensburg, was charged Thursday with aggravated driving while intoxicated, speeding and being an unlicensed driver when stopped on Maple Street, Potsdam village police said.
She registered a 0.25 percent blood alcohol content.
