MORRISTOWN, Tenn. - Mrs. Helena E. Kilbourne-Weeks, age 97, of Morristown, Tenn. passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010, at home. She was a retired Civil Service Employee of the Rome Developmental Center of Rome, NY. Helena was a long standing member at St Patrick's Catholic Church of Morristown, TN, and the eldest member of the Nightingale Red Hat Club.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Emmett and Estella Main of Lowville, NY and her husband of 52 years, Kermit A. Kilbourne of Rome, NY. She was also preceded in death by her siblings John, Clarence, Dennis, Lyle, Mildred, Elsie, and Ethel of Lowville, NY. She is survived by her daughters Judith Skinner of Milford, DE, Kay Barr of Colton, NY and Salem, SC, and Patricia Holmes and husband Robert, of Morristown, TN. Grandchildren: Debbie Case of Milford, DE, Christine Haynes and husband George of Baltimore, MD, John Marsh of Freehold, NJ, Jim Marsh and wife Kathy of Media, PA, David Barr of Florida, Becky Barr Paul and husband Andy of Colton, NY, and Brian Barr and wife Stephanie of Schenectady, NY, and Sheryl Holmes of Morristown, TN, and Donald Holmes and wife Glynis of Branchburg, NJ. Great-Grandchildren: John Case III and Miriam of Milford, DE, Bobby Case and wife Stephanie of Milford, DE, and Billy Case of Milford, DE, and Scott and Daniel Haynes of Baltimore, MD, and Cody Marsh of Media, PA, and Lindsay and Jenna Paul of Colton, NY, and Joshua and Gabriel Trenholm of Morristown, TN, and Eric Holmes of Janelew, WV. Great-Great-Grandchildren: Savannah, John IV, and Alison Case of Milford, DE. She also remains survived by several nieces and nephews. Helena is also survived by her caregiver and loving friend, Eleanor McDaniel of Morristown, TN.

Funeral services will be overseen by Stetzer Funeral Home of Morristown, TN. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 4th at St Patrick's Catholic Church beginning at 10 AM, with Memorial Mass to follow at 11AM. The Interment will be at the St Patrick's Columbarium following mass. Bereavement Luncheon will be provided by the St Patrick's Bereavement Committee, immediately following the Internment, for family and close friends in the Parish Center.
