Paul J. Main Sr.

Paul J. Main Sr., 80, of Howlett Hill, died Wednesday. Born in Ogdensburg, Paul was a US Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War. He was an automotive mechanic and instructor for 57 years. Paul had worked at Medical Arts. He enjoyed playing the guitar, gardening with his wife and fishing. Paul is predeceased by his parents John and Helen Main, son John Main in 2008, and grandson Jayson Cole in 1998.

Paul is survived by his wife of 57 years the former Etta M. Bice; children Paul (Kathy) Main Jr. of Fayetteville, Kathryn Cole of Marietta, and Marietta (Bob) Kenney of Bernhards Bay; a sister and brother, Sister John Helen GNSH and Kermit Main; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and three beloved dogs.

Calling hours will be 9:30 to 11:15am Saturday, with the funeral service to follow at 11:30am, both at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main St., Marcellus. Burial will be in Howlett Hill Cemetery.
