Beatrice A. Burrows

Beatrice A. Burrows, 77, of Fairpoint died Friday (Sept. 3, 2010) in Wheeling Medical Park Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 25, 1933 in Helena, daughter of the late Ray and Myrtle (Layo) Sebring.

She married the late Arthur (Nick) Burrows on Oct. 27, 1951.

Beatrice was a member of the United Methodist Church, Bannock.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and spouse, were two daughters, Clara and Kenda; three brothers and six sisters.

She is survived by one sister, Joan Currier of Central Square. She was loved by, and Mom to, Sandi (Alan) Bartnicki, Hartwell, Ga., Linda (Mark) Linkous, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Renda (Stanley) Muklewicz, Bridgeport, and Cinda Burrows, Flushing; a son, Williams A. Burrows (Holly), New Athens; eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was known as "Aunt Bea" to many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Bannock United Methodist Church, with Pastor David Powell officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to Warren Funeral Home, Flushing.
