This week's Clarkson Notes, which will run in our paper and online Friday, will feature a variety of subjects.
One of the items will be defenseman Mark Borowiecki's success on faceoffs last week, going 8-2 in the final three games of the week. Here's a clip of Borowiecki discussing his new role on the team:
Also mentioned this Friday will be updates on injuries to Ben Sexton and Alex Boak and a discussion of how the coaching staff will be spending their off week. A hint there, it's not going to be an off week for George Roll, Greg Drechsel or Chris Rogles.
Clarkson also has added a recruit for next season in 6-foot-6, 230-pound defenseman J.D. Carrabino, who turns 20 on Feb. 17. Carrabino, a native of New Canaan, Conn., plays for Springfield of the EJHL. He has three goals and 19 assists through 22 games and 68 penalty minutes.
