ROCHESTER — Watertown native Taylor Hughes earned the Empire-8 athlete of the week for St. John Fisher women’s lacrosse.

Hughes, who led Watertown to back-to-back state final four appearances, had seven points on five goals and two assists in St. John Fisher’s 17-11 victory over St. Lawrence on Saturday.

Hughes ranks fifth on the team in scoring with 40 goals and nine assists.
