HERKIMER — Former South Jefferson athlete Josh Wilcox broke a 32-year-old Herkimer County Community College record during the NJCAA Division III track and field meet last month at Alfred State.

Wilcox, in his first season with Herkimer, completed the 800 meters in 2 minutes, .42 seconds. That time broke a school record set in 1979 by Jay Walsh.

Wilcox is an EMT/paramedic major.
