A report from the state Division of Budget says that New York isn't out of the woods (or tunnel, as the cover sheet would have it) yet.
The state will have budget shortfalls of $2.4 billion, $2.8 billion and $3.4 billion over the next three years.
The natural question is: Do we keep cutting? Do we keep taxes low, or can we raise them?
It's the question I'm putting before our state legislators today. I'll have an answer for you whenever I get it.
