Rep. Bill Owens is among those headed to Israel on a fact-finding mission.
In Jerusalem, he'll meet with Israeli President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. He'll also meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank.
His spokesman tells me that Mr. Owens left yesterday, and POLITICO reports that the delegation will arrive today.
He's one of 81 — yes, 81 — members of the House to make the trip, POLITICO reports, citing the Jerusalem Post.
It's Mr. Owens' first time in Israel. He visited Afghanistan in 2009.
