Attorney General Eric Schneiderman will be in Watertown tomorrow to announce something that affects Fort Drum soldiers, we're reliably informed.
We still don't know what, exactly, that announcement will be.
This is Mr. Schneiderman's first visit to Watertown as attorney general. Then-AG Andrew Cuomo visited in 2010 when he was running for governor.
Questions that I'm sure to ask Mr. Schneiderman:
1. Wind power everythings.
2. Cape Vincent's illegal law that only people with valid CV driver's licenses can vote in an upcoming election.
3. I'll come up with something by tomorrow for Question No. 3.
Update:
Just got the official word from the AG's office. The event will be held at the state office building on Washington Street at 1:30 p.m. It's about a company that scammed "hundreds of soldiers," the release says.
Probably in regards to this story, I surmise.
