YNN's Brian Dwyer took the worst right out of my mouth when he asked Attorney General Eric Schneiderman about his relationship with Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
A Wall Street Journal article concluded that the relationship is "rippling with unease."
Here's Mr. Schneiderman's response to that:
"The governor and I met in 1982" on the Mr. Cuomo's father's campaign. "We've been friends for a long time. We get along very well," he said, adding that there will naturally be some disagreements.
"I hate to say this in a room full of reporters, but not everybody gets the facts exactly right," he said.
Or something along those lines. Who knows. I probably got it wrong.
Anyway, we should have a full story on Mr. Schneiderman's main reason for visiting the north country: Announcing the results of legal proceedings against a company that was ripping off soldiers. (Indeed, to Mr. Schneiderman's point, this investigation was started during Mr. Cuomo's tenure as attorney general.)
More to come on other subjects, as well.
