Remember those halcyon days when we thought we'd have a Republican primary in the 23rd Congressional District, courtesy of tea party interloper Kelly Eustis?
They're long gone. Mr. Eustis dropped out, and now is singing Republican heir apparent Matt Doheny's praises on Twitter.
Mr. Eustis is active in the conservative, tea party fundraising scene, and he says he'll be active again in 2012. He's calling Mr. Doheny a "strong Republican" as he gears up to take on Rep. Bill Owens (insert redistricting caveat here).
