The conference season began Tuesday with Quinnipiac earning a 5-2 win at Princeton. The rest of the league's teams begin play on Friday.
Rensselaer and Union are traveling to the north country to play Clarkson and St. Lawrence. Colgate and Cornell are traveling to face Yale and Brown and Princeton and Quinnipiac are traveling to play Harard and Dartmouth.
The conference's best nonconference records belong to Quinnipiac (6-2), Clarkson (5-1-2), Colgate (4-2-1) and Union (3-1-3). St. Lawrence (0-4) and RPI (1-6) have struggled in nonconference play.
One of this weekend's games will be on television as CBS College Sports will air the Cornell at Yale game Friday at 7:30 p.m.

VERSUS will be renaming itself the NBC Sports Network soon and the channel will air a handful of college hockey games, including four ECAC Hockey matchups.
The first game to be featured will be Dartmouth at Rensselaer at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 6. The network will also air Yale at Harvard (7:30 p.m., Jan. 27), Cornell at Rensselaer (7:30 p.m., Feb. 3) and Dartmouth at Yale (7:30 p.m., Feb. 17).
