Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy will visit Watertown on Thursday to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Beaver Meadows housing development.
Mr. Duffy is scheduled to appear at 11 a.m.
Top officials in Gov. Andrew Cuomo's administration have made quite a few appearances in the north country. Mr. Cuomo came to Watertown to give a budget speech and to Dexter to sign a bill that stiffened penalties on texting while driving.
Mr. Duffy has made numerous visits to Potsdam for the regional economic development council meetings. He also came to fete the Creek Wood apartment complex.
