Death and taxes aren't the only certainties in life.
Here's another one: If someone at the Watertown Daily Times writes about industrial wind development issues and doesn't acknowledge that anti-wind power advocates believe their opponents to be unethical knaves who have conflicts of interest up the wazoo, you're sure to hear about it in the comments section.
So I'm sure they'll be pleased about this Associated Press story, which says that Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is requesting information about ethics rules from the state's 932 towns, Cape Vincent ostensibly among them.
It's all part of Mr. Schneiderman's efforts at "addressing issues like gifts, nepotism and conflicts of interest," according to the AP article, which you really ought to read in its entirety, you know.
And the headline this morning on anti-wind power blog Jefferson Leaning Left? "New York Attorney General Schneiderman has a big fat file on Cape Vincent, NY."
