Clarkson had to wait one more day to play its first home game since Nov. 19 after a winter storm caused Friday's game against Yale to be moved to tomorrow afternoon.
The Golden Knights' return wasn't what the team hoped for, however, as Brown skated to a 2-2 tie with the Golden Knights before 2,248 fans Saturday night at Cheel Arena.
Clarkson (9-10-5 overall, 3-4-3 conference) had to settle for a tie despite outshooting the Bears 41-17. Clarkson also had seven power-play chances but could not score against the Bears (6-7-3, 3-4-1).
Here is one of Clarkson's first-period power plays...
Brown's Matt Lorito opened the scoring with a goal at 6 minutes, 47 seconds of the first period.
Will Frederick tied the game for the Golden Knights at 14:50 of the first period.
Jeff Buvinow came out of the penalty box just as Brown was bringing the puck up the ice and gave the Bears a 2-1 lead with a goal just 78 seconds into the second period.
His goal was answered by a strange goal from Nick Tremblay
