I'm sure I wasn't the only reporter in New York state who went to sleep last night with visions of sugar plums and redistricting maps dancing in my head.
We'd been promised that the redistricting maps — which will show where our politicians will be shaking hands and kissing babies in November, and whether they'll have to face one another — would come out this week. Then, it got more specific: Tuesday morning.
But now, that's not happening, according to Teri Weaver of The Post-Standard.
The maps are being delayed again. The Post-Standard reports that they'll most likely be out Thursday.
That sounds oddly familiar.
This is turning from a wonderful Christmas morning into Groundhog Day.
