With Salmon River clinging to a 2-1 lead in the second period, OFA looked like it was going to have a chance to get back in the game when it got a two-man advantage on the power play.

But Salmon River's Adam Bomberry scored a shorthanded goal, despite the Shamrocks being two men down, then less than a minute later Tye Terrance scored on another shorthanded breakaway and Salmon River was up 4-1 and it was all but over.

Ryan Thomas, Colton Hart and Chris George also scored for Salmon River, which won its second straight title and third in four years. The Shamrocks will travel to play Section 3's Oswego on Saturday in a state quarterfinal.

Zach Barr scored for OFA.
