The St. Lawrence County Arts Council will offer art$TART arts-in-education grant workshops in Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties.

The grants from the state Council on the Arts provide up to $2,500 to create partnerships between artists and schools. The deadline to apply is July 20.

The workshops will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Snell Hall, room 230, 41 Elm St., Potsdam, and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library, 229 Washington St., Watertown.
