LOWVILLE — George E. Balcom, 55, Arlington Apartment in the village of Croghan, was charged on Friday night by Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child following a domestic incident.

He is accused of hitting his unidentified girlfriend several times in front of a child.

He was remanded to the Lewis County Correctional Facility on $200 bail.
