Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred about 6:15 p.m. Friday at Pine Grove Road in the town of Greig, Lewis County Sheriff deputies said.

A 1995 Honda Passport, driven by Cody A. Gibson, 18, of Watertown, collided with a 2008 Pontiac G6, deputies said. None of the injuries were considered life threatening.

A passenger in his vehicle, Travis J. Metheny, 18, of Watertown, was flown by helicopter to University Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for his injuries. His condition was not known Saturday.

The driver of the other vehicle, Danyele Meiss, 23, of Lyons Falls, was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Utica. She was treated and later released.

Two passengers in her vehicle, Amanda Pleskach, 23, and an unidentified 16-year-old girl, were taken to Lewis County General Hospital. A hospital spokeswoman refused to release their conditions on Saturday.

Mr. Gibson was ticketed for failing to yield the right away.
