GOUVERNEUR - Agnes B. Smithers, 86, died Thursday at the E.J. Noble Hospital, Gouverneur.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur, with the Rev. Bob King and the Rev. Howard Maxson, pastor of Fowler Baptist Church, officiating and burial in Fairview Cemetery, Edwards. Calling hours are Sunday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to the Fowler Baptist Church or E.J. Noble Hospital.
