An Ogdensburg man was charged by state police with second-degree aggravated harassment at 6:35 p.m. Thursday following an altercation with his girlfriend the previous day.

Michael J. Nugent, 26, of 1848 Jay St., is accused of calling his girlfriend about 7 p.m. Wednesday and threatening her with bodily harm.

Mr. Nugent was released on his own recognizance.
