Pepsi-Place booters stay unbeaten

The Ogdensburg Pepsi-The Place Men’s Soccer team enjoyed their seventh win of the season with a 5-2 win over Murray’s Flooring-The Place in North Country Men’s Soccer League action on Sunday. Ogdensburg Pepsi-The Place (7-0) received three goals from Grant Prudhomme and single goals from Eric Whitcombe and Mike O’Neill. Bill Gemmill had eight saves for the winners.

Don Wilhelm and Kaleb Bertrand scored for Murray’s-The Place (2-3-2) and Nolan Fletcher made 14 saves.

Ogd. Amp 3, Frary’s Funeral 2: Dylan Reed and Ricky Stevenson figured in the scoring for Frary’s.

CKON-Fort Brickhouses 4, CJ’s - McDuffs 2: The winners rallied from one-goal deficits in each half. Kenny Rushing scored in the first half for CJ’s-McDuff’s and Rob Smarz scored in the second half from Mark Mishak. Dan Gerow scored a first-half equalizer from Rob Chambers for CKON which struck for three straight goals in the second half by Chris Lewis from Colby King Jacobs, Dan Gerow from Tim Cookand Cook off an assist from Dave Henrie.

CKON Fort’s Brickhouses Ted Cook made eight saves and Dusting Andrus stopped 12 for McDuff’s.

Hoot Owl 3, Potsdam Country Realy 0: Nate Butler scored from Travis Jordan, Travis Jordan connected from Eric Hayes and Shawn Spadacinni scored from Jake Newman for the Hoot Owl. Jake Newman preserved the shutout with three saves

Timerwolves 1, Vido, Vidi Vici 0: Gavin Dominy scored while Thor Merrill made seven saves for the shutout for Timberwolves.
