Funeral services for Randy Thomas Livingston, age 54, of 902 Caroline Street, Ogdensburg, will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Ogdensburg with Rev. Laurena Whickham Will officiating. Burial will be in Ogdensburgh Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 26, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Frary Funeral Home. Mr. Livingston passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday evening, June 23, 2012.

Mr. Livingston is survived by three daughters, Nikki Livingston, Sarah Davis and her husband, Will, and Katie Livingston all of North Carolina; four brothers, Albert Livingston, and his wife Sharon, of Ogdensburg, Glenn Livingston and Aurelia of Alabama, Edwin Livingston, and his wife, Joyce, of Florida, and Richard Dings and his wife, Patricia, of Ogdensburg; four sisters, Sally Smith of Long Island, Lucina Kirby and her husband, George, Coralee Joanette and Bonnie Daily, all of Ogdensburg; one grandson, Brent William Davis III (Tripp), of North Carolina; one granddaughter due in September, Ryleigh Shea Burris; a special cousin, Patricia Bishop, a special friend, Val Testani, his caregiver, Troy Livingson; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and sister-in-law, Wanda Livingston. He was predeceased by one brother, Robert Dings.

He was born on March 12, 1958 in Ogdensburg, the son of Frances Livingston and Robert Dings. He graduated from O.F.A. in 1977. He married Kathy Hardle in 1985. That marriage ended in divorce. He first went to work for the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center in the maintenance department and retired from the Department of Corrections after 20 years of service. He also operated Northern Lights DJ Service with Don Swan.

Mr. Livingston was very active in Knights of Columbus’ Showtime for the past 37 years, Spotlight Theater, and IATSE (International Alliance of Theatre and Stage Employees). He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Showtime Mayor of Ginivalvil. He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. He also served in the church choir. He enjoyed entertaining people and making them laugh. He was a man of deep faith. He attended Notre Dame Church, St. Mary’s Church and the First Presbyterian Church.
