At New York Avenue Park, a slide was cut and scraped. Damage was estimated at between $2,000 and $3,000.

Also, a picnic table was bent.

At Grove Street Park, burn marks and a swastika were found on a slide.

The vandalism occurred between late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call police at 393-1551.
