FELONY DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Joshua F. Jock, 31, of Potsdam with a felony count of driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for failure to yield right of way at stop sign following a traffic stop at 1:54 a.m. Thursday on Market Street. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.17 percent, more than double the 0.08 percent level that constitutes a DWI. The charge was elevated to a felony because Jock reportedly had a DWI conviction within the past 10 years.
UBLAWFUL POSSESSION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Anna M. Hammill, 22, of Norwood with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed her for traveling the wrong way on a one way street following a traffic stop at 10:13 p.m. Thursday on Hamilton Street. Police said during the traffic stop Hammill was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

1030 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a rollover motor vehicle accident on state Route 56 between Potsdam and Hannawa Falls.
1141 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Pleasant Valley Road.
1319 Patrols assisted a tractor trailer carrying a wide load through the village of Potsdam.
1505 Patrol responded to report of a property damage accident in Lower Woodstock parking lot.
1548 Report of a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Castle Drive. Plate information, vehicle description and operator description provided. Investigation continues.
