FELONY DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Joshua F. Jock, 31, of Potsdam with a felony count of driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for failure to yield right of way at stop sign following a traffic stop at 1:54 a.m. Thursday on Market Street. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.17 percent, more than double the 0.08 percent level that constitutes a DWI. The charge was elevated to a felony because Jock reportedly had a DWI conviction within the past 10 years.

UBLAWFUL POSSESSION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Anna M. Hammill, 22, of Norwood with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed her for traveling the wrong way on a one way street following a traffic stop at 10:13 p.m. Thursday on Hamilton Street. Police said during the traffic stop Hammill was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

0920 Patrol dispatched to Lawrence Avenue Medical Complex for a female parked in a handicapped zone that that is unable to get into her vehicle because another vehicle is parked too close.

1012 Potsdam Rescue ALS dispatched to Colton.

1030 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a rollover motor vehicle accident on state Route 56 between Potsdam and Hannawa Falls.

1141 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Pleasant Valley Road.

1319 Patrols assisted a tractor trailer carrying a wide load through the village of Potsdam.

1505 Patrol responded to report of a property damage accident in Lower Woodstock parking lot.

1548 Report of a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Castle Drive. Plate information, vehicle description and operator description provided. Investigation continues.

1711 Reckless driving complaint.

1724 Potsdam PD, Potsdam Rescue and Potsdam Fire dispatched to a motorcycle/car accident on Market Street. Motorcycle operator, Robert W. Barlow of Norfolk was issued a traffic summons for following too closely returnable in Potsdam Village Court.
