Two men from Philadelphia and Theresa were released without bail in Watertown City Court on Friday following their early morning arrests as suspects in a tire slashing incident at 316 Keyes Ave.

Pasquale S. Brancatella, 46, of 36914 Ore Bed Road, Philadelphia, and his son, Michael S. Brancatella, 18, of 35033 Eddy Road, Theresa, are charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony. They are accused of puncturing two tires on a 2012 Toyota Tacoma owned by Nhung H. Nguyen, 316 Keyes Ave., shortly before 12:40 a.m., according to police documents.

Police said officers located the suspects about 90 minutes later in the 500 block of Franklin Street with the assistance of a witness who followed their vehicle.

Police were told by Mrs. Nguyen that she and Pasquale Brancatella have been involved in a money dispute over contracted work by Mr. Brancatella.
