CANTON A Massena man was indicted Thursday by a St. Lawrence County grand jury after he allegedly damaged three cars and a house and assaulted a police officer in January.
Martin E. Maxwell, 51, of 391 Willard Road, was charged with second-degree assault, two counts of second-degree criminal mischief, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
Mr. Maxwell allegedly caused more than $1,500 worth of damage to Richard Flynns home, more than $250 worth of damage to his car, more than $1,500 worth of damage to Audrey Bicknells car and more than $250 worth of damage to Frederick Ruddys car.
He also allegedly caused physical injury to Officer Michael Flynn while resisting arrest.
Others indicted by the grand jury:
Todd J. Cameron, 46, and Dylan J. Cameron, 28, both of 245 Delaney Road, Ogdensburg, were charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
They allegedly possessed more than 16 ounces of the drug, a class D felony.
