PORT LEYDEN — Lewis County sheriff’s deputies on Sunday charged Jason S. Moran, 39, of 8196 Moose River Road, with trespassing at a stone quarry owned by the town of Leyden.

Deputies said Mr. Moran’s vehicle was found stuck in the quarry, which is posted against trespassing.

He is to answer the charge in Village Court.
