Jane Mary Barry passed away in her home Saturday, June 23, 2012. Ms. Barry, daughter of the late Dr. James and Gertrude Barry, was born in Brockville, Ontario, Canada, on March 21, 1947. After attending St. Mary’s School and graduating from Ogdensburg Free Academy, she received a bachelor of arts degree from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. Following her graduation, Ms. Barry entered the pension and profit sharing field and worked in Boston, Massachusetts; San Francisco, California and for the past 30 years, worked for the Epler Company in San Diego, where she served as President of the company.

She is survived by her siblings: Dr. Murray Barry (Fresno, CA), Maureen Farnan (Fort Wayne, IN), Barbara Harris, Margaret Driscoll, Martha Barry (San Diego, CA), Mary Douglas (Cary, NC), Theresa Campbell (Arlington, TX), William Barry (Jacksonville, FL), James Barry (Baldwinsville, NY).

Jane was predeceased by her parents, brothers: Dr. Michael Barry and Maurice Barry and her sisters: Diana Wells and Joan Barry.

Arrangements are with the Holy Cross Cemetery. A mass of Christian burial will take place Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent’s Church in Mission Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
