The KofC booters dropped Parishville 7-1 in a well played match in recent PYSA Soccer action.
Justyn McCormick open the scoring off a nice feed from Greg Mallott at the 10 minute mark of the contest. Four minutes later, Jake Sharpe followed with nice goal off an assist from Hayden Ives. Ives tallied two more markers before the half with the assists going to McCormick and Jake Adner.
Sydney Ray found the back of the net for Parishville just before the half ended to draw within 4-1.
Katie Axtell started the second half with two quick goals off pretty passes from Nick Shollette to open up a comfortable lead for the locals. Taylor Mack rounded out the scoring for the KofC with 5 minutes remaining to produce the final score.
Nick Sholette, Kelsey Pinkerton, and Natalie McCormick combined for 6 saves in the net for the KofC. Alex Hayes handled 15 shots in the net for Parishville, with nice defensive efforts also being supplied by Garrett McGill and Reggie Eller.
The KofC defense was lead by Ian Morrow, Caroline Lalone, Kelsey Sherwin, and Olivia McRoberts. Strong midfield play came from Shelby Ross, Ali Moore, and Katie Rogers.
