MORRISTOWN Three youths were charged with misdemeanors Wednesday after they were found in possession of stolen fishing equipment, according to state police
The two younger children, a 9-year-old and an 11-year-old, both from Morristown, were issued appearance tickets at 2 p.m. Wednesday. A 15-year-old from Ogdensburg, was charged July 7 and also was issued an appearance ticket.
All were charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class A misdemeanor.
Troopers said fishing poles and tackle boxes had been reported stolen from several Morristown residences dating back to the original report, made May 27.
