Patrick M. Stevenson, 33, of 1135 Bronson St., Apt. 2, was arrested by Watertown police Tuesday evening on charges of felony criminal contempt and harassment, and was detained to await arraignment in City Court.

He is accused of violating a City Court order of protection about 5 p.m. when he grabbed Michelle M. Adams, same address, while trying to take a cellphone from her, according to police. He also pushed open a door, striking her with it, police said.

Mr. Stevenson was sentenced in February 2011 to three years’ probation after he pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child in City Court. He also was given five years’ probation in March 2008 in Jefferson County Court after he was convicted of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
