POTSDAM FC Freeze handed Dow Electric of Colton-Parishville its first loss of the North Country Womens soccer League season in a 3-1 decision on Wednesday.
Ari Czech scored the lone goal for Dow Electric which dropped to 8-1 and into a first place tie with Potsdam II which bested Edwards-Knox 4-1. FC Freeze moved within one game of the lead at 8-2-0.
In other games Akwesasne nipped Norwood-Norfolk 2-1, Canton nipped Potsdam I 1-0 and Harrisville received a 1-0 forfeit win from Massena.
