LOWVILLE Village police are looking for an apparent hit-and-run driver who on Friday afternoon damaged a hydrant and several signs and mailboxes on the south side of Bostwick Street near the FiberMark plant.
A tan-colored van with a red rear door apparently caused the damage, which was reported at about 3 p.m., according to police.
The vehicle likely has significant front end damage, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Lowville Police Department at 376-6511.
