The Ogdensburg Kiwanis Youth Soccer Program is holding signups today at the Ed Dobisky Visitor Center from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There is a change in divisions this season as the program will be for ages 4-12.

The cost of the program is $15 per child with a maximum of $40 for a family if signed up before Aug. 17. There will be NO sign-ups after August 17.

Mail-in registration is also being accepted this year by mailing the information below to: Angela Maroney, 800 Hamilton Street, Ogdensburg, New York 13669. with a check or money order payable to the Kiwanis Club of Ogdensburg.

Age 4-5 will play Saturday mornings at Montroy Park.

Other age groups will play a variety of nights and could do some traveling to Heuvelton, Lisbon and Morristown.

Anyone wishing to coach the 6-9 year olds are asked to stop at sign-ups today.

I/We the parents of the above named child, who is a candidate for a position on a Kiwanis Soccer team, hereby give my/our approval to his/her participation in any and all of the activities of the program and assume all risks and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities and transportation to and from the activities. I/We do further hereby release, absolve, indemnify, and hold harmless the Kiwanis International, the organizers, sponsors or any of the supervisors, any and all of them. In case of injury to our child, we waive all claims against the organizers, sponsors or any of the supervisors appointed by them. I/We likewise waive, to the extent not covered by liability insurance, any claim against any person transporting our child to or from the activities. I/ we will furnish a certified birth certificate of the child upon the request of League Officials.

I/We understand and appreciate the importance of sportsmanship and will help to encourage our child to demonstrate good sportsmanship both on and off the field. I/We further agree to abide by the rules and regulations posted and will cooperate with the referees and Kiwanis officials.
