Being arrested once Thursday for his text messages apparently left him unfazed, so he got arrested again.

Watertown police say that Brian C. Morenz, 31, of 130 Court St., Apt. 806, sent texts to Amanda J. Fluellen, Theresa, while she was at Jefferson County Family Court on Thursday afternoon, telling her he was coming to court to slap her. There were several similar messages, and police were waiting for him when he arrived.

He was arrested on a charge of aggravated harassment, and later was released from custody.

Ms. Fluellen told police that between 8:30 and 10 p.m., she received more text messages from Mr. Morenz. Again, he made threats as what he would do to her when he saw her at Family Court, police said.

He was charged with third-degree stalking Thursday night. City Judge Eugene R. Renzi sent him to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on Friday, setting bail at $5,000. He also issued an order of protection for Ms. Fluellen.

Mr. Morenz was sentenced to three years’ probation in Jefferson County Court in May 2011 for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and stalking a different person. He also was arrested last May on a charge of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, which subsequently was reduced in City Court to harassment.
