Two men from New York City were sent Thursday to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building after they were allegedly found possessing wraps of crack cocaine during a raid Wednesday afternoon on William Street.
Solomon O. Clarke, 19, Brooklyn, and Todd L. Ross, 26, Queens, are charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony. City Judge Eugene R. Renzi set bail for each at $15,000.
The raid was conducted about 4 p.m. Wednesday at 316 William St. after the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force received information that cocaine sales had been occurring there during the prior two days, according to City Court documents. Mr. Clarke had 14 wraps on his person, while Mr. Ross had a dozen wraps, police said.
