POTSDAM — A Colton woman accused of writing a bad check was arrested by state police at 3:11 p.m. Thursday.

Rebecca A. Wright, 39, of 86 Riverside Drive, is accused of writing a $57.51 check on Jan. 15 to the Village Market, 2 State St., without the funds to cover it, troopers said.

She was released on her own recognizance.
