HEUVELTON - Favorable final week matchups aided Inn on the Greens and The Bowl to division titles in the Ty and Dave’s Cappione-Budweiser Golf League at the Gilbert Greens Country Club on Monday. The Inn on the Greens (Jason Donnelly 40, Dave Donnelly 47) posted a 8.5 point week to finish with 97 points in the Augusta Division over second place Jacuzzi Dudes (Tom Joanette 46, Jesse Joanette 47) with 89 points and M-2 (Andy Moore 45,Randy McAllister, Sandy Moore-sub, Bill Recker-sub 47) with 87.5.

Six points on the week gave Ogdensburg Bowl (Ty Smith Sr 37, Ed Gilbert-sub 43, Jeff Knowlton) the edge over Long Putters (Jeff Hooper-sub 36, Nick Cobb 36, Chuck Ladouceur) 85-84 in the Pebble Beach. Doug’s Tavern (Dick Lesperance 37, Dave Thornhill 42) held onto third place narrowly over St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union (Todd Mashaw 37, Mark Mashaw 44).

Chuck Ladouceur finished with best average on the season at 35.9. The following golfers had averages under 42.0 on the season with at least 10 weeks: Ty Smith Sr. 39.5, Dick Lesperance 40.5, Ty Smith Jr. 41.9, Todd Mashaw 40.3, Joe Sias 41.6, Tom Cobb 38.4, Gary Gilbert 38,9, Nick Cobb 39.5, Kelly O’Grady 40.6, Josh McAllister 40.6, and Brek Murray 38.0.

On Sunday, there will be a end of the season Captain and Crew Golf Tournament starting at Noon. Players are asked to be at the course at 11:30 a.m. for pairings. The cost is $20 which includes prizes and food at Doug’s following the event at Gilbert Greens.
