CANTON — Sheka D. Johns, 31, of 6436 County Route 27, was charged Saturday by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The charges stem from an incident Aug. 14, when deputies responded to a report of a 14-year-old girl lying semiconscious on the ground.

During the ensuing investigation, it was alleged that Ms. Johns provided marijuana to two 14-year-old girls.

She is scheduled to appear in Canton Town Court.
