Republicans Matt Doheny and Patty Ritchie will open a joint campaign office in Ogdensburg on Saturday, according to an email from the campaign's St. Lawrence County liaison.
The office will open in the Seaway Shopping Plaza, 700 Canton St., "right next to Donut King."
Mr. Doheny, of Watertown, is facing incumbent Rep. Bill Owens, D-Plattsburgh, on Nov. 6. Mrs. Ritchie, a freshman state senator of Heuvelton, will face Democrat Amy Tresidder, an Oswego County legislator, in her re-election battle.
Also in the Big County: Mr. Doheny's wife, Mary, will march in the Heuvelton Labor Day Parade on Sunday. Lineup starts at 12:30 p.m.
